Order one notepad for each person in your department, group or company and notice the morale shift. Many people in work teams feel like no one notices their efforts. Usually its because everyone is too busy to praise, or “it’s just not done”. It’s typical for most people to be focused on “What’s Bad?” instead of on “What’s Good?”

Each person gets a notepad and is invited to take one minute at the end of each day to give individual, specific praise to someone they work with. They simply think of anything “done right| that day.
